David was born in the territory of Hawaii, in 1957. Traveling as he grew up in a military family, raised on the West Coast, Southwest and the South. His Mother instilled in him a love for history, his father a love for the outdoors. As most young people in the seventies, He traveled across the U.S. in a time that was unique. Meeting people from all walks of life, which he thinks helps him in developing characters. David has worked in several different fields, refineries, railroad, automotive and so many more. He has always enjoyed writing stories, kindled by long conversations about history, with his mother and ignited by taking courses at community college, he has worked toward his lifelong dream to be an author.
David has been riding a Harley most of his adult life, the older the better. He is presently riding a 1950 Panhead, and enjoys taking trips when he can.
He now lives in New Mexico, with his wife Laura Jane. A wee Scottish lassie, that he says, “Introduced me to my heritage and made me fall in love with Scotland.”
